DIRECTIONS: 

Add one sachet to 750ml of water and mix well. Consume within 12 hours of mixing.

RECOMMENDED USE: 

500ml – 750ml per hour during extended exercise.

Why a Sports Drink?

Making up around 60% of our body weight, water is a key component to maintaining health and preventing dehydration consequences such as headaches, fatigue, and even nausea. When we exercise, we need to replace fluid lost in sweat. A crucial role of fluids in performance is to enable our blood to easily transport nutrients around our body, which are essential to keep our muscles fuelled and oxygenated.

When mixed with water to the correct concentration, PURE Electrolyte Hydration will assist with ensuring adequate fluid intake during exercise and help prevent or treat mild dehydration that may occur as a result of sustained strenuous exercise.

Formulated with key electrolytes; sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, PURE Electrolyte Hydration helps to replace electrolytes lost during exercise & sweating. In a performance context, these 4 electrolytes play a pivotal role in water balance, supporting the nervous system and functioning of muscles.

Carbohydrates in sports drink also can assist with faster rehydration and energy requirements during exercise. PURE Electrolyte Hydration is designed to rapidly replace energy during exercise. Formulated with a specific blend of sucrose and glucose it is fast absorbing, tummy-friendly and not sickly sweet, making it easy to drink at full strength. 

How Much and When

When exercise lasts longer than 60 minutes, a sports drink should be considered to replace lost fluid and electrolytes. Begin any exercise session well hydrated to limit dehydration and associated fatigue. 

Specific fluid recommendations can vary from approximately 500ml to upwards of 1000ml per hour depending on the intensity and length of your training. The amount of fluid you require can also change depending on the weather, if it's hot, you'll need to drink more.

You can train your body to accept more fluids, so use your training sessions to practice drinking higher quantities in case its warmer on race day.

I enjoyed trying all the different flavours. This hydration drink is great tasting and easy to use as it's pre-portined. I normally use it before & after my long runs

This is really delicious. Way better than more basic electrolytes. It was a bit too sweet for me so I switched to the Low Carb version and like that better, but this is still really good.

Love these electrolytes!

After being very unwell and being told to drink electrolytes every day, I thought I'd try Pure. Thank goodness I did because they're fantastic! Love the pineapple flavour best, and our older kids love it to so perfect for sports and illness!
