The Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon on 3 November 2024 is an annual running festival with a range of distances so everyone can participate - including the Marathon, Half Marathon, 11km Traverse, 5km Challenge and the Kids' Marathon.
The Full and Half Marathon events start in Devonport and have run over Auckland's Harbour Bridge since 2000, finishing at Victoria Park near the CBD. The "Party in the Park" after function has a corporate marquee village and other fun and entertainment.

Ramsay Health Care Triathlon Pink is not your average triathlon, it is all about the ladies and is all about fun. Featuring a pool swim, closed roads and more pink than you’ll see in an under 5’s ballet class, we’re confident once you’ve had a taste, you’ll be hooked. All adult triathlon distances can be done in a relay team or as an individual, it’s totally up to you.
Whilst our Triathlon Pink triathlon events are only open to women plus girls / boys aged 7-13 years, our fun run distances are available to all ages and genders.

The Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT), the newest world class trail situated in Gariwerd, the Grampians National Park, is a 162km trail with 7,700 metres of elevation from Mt Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south.
