Why, How Much & When?
Electrolyte, or mineral salt, capsules, are designed to replenish those naturally lost when we sweat. The predominant electrolyte is sodium followed by potassium, magnesium and calcium.
The most common reason for use is cramp prevention, however they also help to hydrate you by drawing water from your stomach into your body and into your cells. On a cellular level, these electrolytes literally allow your muscles to move so you can get from start to finish. Many people also report of feeling less fatigued during training & racing when they use electrolyte capsules.
Electrolyte capsules can be used before and during training or racing, and also to help general hydration. You can preload on electrolytes leading into an event that is 2-3 hours in duration or for events in hot conditions. These capsules are also great to top up your electrolytes during hard training or racing. Recommended for endurance athletes or those requiring additional electrolytes due to high sweat rates and during hot conditions.
Easy to consume - just swallow with water or sports drink while exercising. No need to dissolve. We have designed this product to be used alongside our hydration range. Added magnesium helps to support normal muscle function and contributes to a reduction in tiredness & fatigue, when taken as part of a varied & healthy diet.
