PURE Electrolyte Capsules are formulated to help maintain your body's electrolyte levels and to help replace minerals lost during sustained strenuous exercise. These salt replacement capsules are also great in hot conditions when extra electrolytes are needed to help with muscle function and cramp prevention. 

  • Each capsule contains 167mg Sodium, plus Potassium, Magnesium and Calcium

Each capsule contains Mineral Salts (Sodium 167 mg from Sodium Chloride, 57 mg Potassium from Potassium Citrate, 14 mg Magnesium from Magnesium Citrate, 10 mg Calcium from Calcium Citrate), Vegetarian Encapsulating Aids.

Contains 330 mg Sodium and 115 mg Potassium per 2 capsules (each hour).

RECOMMENDED USE: Take 2 capsules every hour during prolonged physical activity. For periods of increased sweat loss, additional capsules may be taken, up to a maximum of 7 capsules daily. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

The recommended daily dose provides 1169mg sodium.

Caution: PURE Electrolyte Capsules will help support performance in hot weather conditions or endurance events. It does not prevent hyponatremia, heat stroke and other dangerous conditions resulting from over-exertion in extreme heat.

Why, How Much & When?

Electrolyte (or mineral salt) capsules are designed to replace the key salts lost through sweat. Sodium is the primary electrolyte, followed by potassium, magnesium, and calcium.

While cramp prevention is the most common reason people use them, electrolytes also support hydration by helping your body absorb and retain water - moving it from your stomach into your bloodstream and cells. At a cellular level, they enable your muscles to contract and function, helping you keep moving from start to finish.

Many athletes also report feeling less fatigued during training and racing when using electrolyte capsules. They can be taken before or during exercise, or simply to support everyday hydration.

You can also preload with electrolytes in the lead-up to events lasting 2–3 hours or more, or in hot conditions. They’re ideal for topping up electrolyte levels during hard efforts or endurance sessions. Recommended for endurance athletes, heavy sweaters, or those training in the heat. They’re easy to take—just swallow with water or a sports drink. No mixing required.

We’ve formulated these to work alongside our hydration products. Added magnesium supports normal muscle function and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue when used as part of a healthy, balanced diet.
