I have been in the team since 2009 and since then i have been to 2x Commonwealth games (Silver and Bronze), London Olympics (Fourth), 2x World Cups and a few Champions Trophy’s (Bronze). I also dabble in a wee bit of Athletics when my Hockey commitments allow. My Future goal is the Rio 2016 summer Olympics.

Adam Ling

Hi I'm Adam ling and I'm a part of the New Zealand Rowing team. I started out at school and won the lightweight four in my last year which cemented my enjoyment in the sport. I went through the ranks of U21 and U23 and finally heard my name called out in the elite team for the first time in 2014. In 2015 I was selected in the lightweight men's single where I picked up a bronze at the World Cup event then topped of the tour with gold at the World Championships. I live in Cambridge with my wife and our dog, Ralph. I have now graduated with an Accounting degree through Waikato University so am now fully focused on my rowing and trying to get to the Olympics.

Justin Leov

30 years old and currently racing for the Canyon Factory Enduro MTB team. After a career in Downhill Mountain Biking where I took 3 Elite NZ titles, 6th place in the World Cup overall and World Championships I made the switch to Enduro MTB. My First full season saw me finish 3rd in the Enduro World Series ( 2014) and last season I was leading the Series before a shoulder injury took me out and I was sent back to NZ to get surgery. My goals for 2016 is to get back to the podium pace I had last season and begin fighting for the top spot once again.

Ben Gibb

I have been Canoeing since the age of 13 and have been on the New Zealand Team for the last 7 Seasons as well as numerous Junior and U23 Teams. I live in the Bay of Plenty, but spend majority of the year over in Europe to make the most of the Artificial White Water courses and the strong European competition. I am currently finishing off my Extramural business degree though Massey to fill in time between trainings and coaching occasionally within my local club. My best results include Multiple National Championships, 2013 U23 Oceania Champion, 21st at last years U23 World Championships in Sydney and a Semifinal at a World Cup. I hope in the future to Compete at the Olympic Games, Top ten at a World Championships and to continue enjoying being on the water. Spending a large part of the day on the water makes it hard to notice being dehydrated during the day. But having a great tasting drink makes hydrating so much easier. Check out my progress on my Facebook page ( and on Instagram (Bencanoe).

Mikayla Nielsen

Goal for 2015 is podium at 2015 World U23 Champs. Ultimate goal is Gold at the 2020 Olympic Games. Pure has been the only sports drink I can tolerate after recently being diagnosed with Fructose intolerance. Great hydration and love the taste!

Elliot Andrew

My name is Elliot Andrew and I am 23 years old from Wellington, NZ. I am a racing driver for Auckland based team Scorpion Racecars competing in the New Zealand Formula First Championship. I started racing go-karts at the age of 9 and won 6 Wellington Club Titles. I also competed nationally and internationally in Australia. From there, I shifted my focus onto racing cars a year ago and came 2nd in class on debut at the first round of the North Island Endurance Series in a SEAT Supercopa race car and then came 1st in class at the second round in a Porsche GT3 Carrera Cup Car. I will now be competing in my second season of the National Formula First Championship with Scorpion Racecars, and I am confident that keeping hydrated with PURE, will give me the edge I need to win this seasons title and then progress into the next tier of Motorsport. Sky Notter

Hi my name is Sky Notter, I am 15 years old and compete in a fast paced equestrian sport called Mounted Games. I first found a passion for this sport when I was 10 years old. Mounted Games requires a high degree of athleticism, determination and a lot of guts as we jump on and off the horse at high speeds . It can be played in teams of 5, pairs or individually. I am current NZ U17 teams, pairs and individual champion. I have a busy season coming up as I have recently been selected to represent NZ in the U17 worlds team champs held in Ireland, I will then go on to represent NZ at the U17 world pairs in Denmark and finish off with the U17 worlds individuals in Wales. I am excited for the future of my sporting career and aspire to one day be a member of the NZ Opens team, competing alongside the best of the best.

Jordan Grant

I have been playing hockey for 18 years and am still in love with the sport! From a young age, I began representing Canterbury Hockey and haven't looked back. In 2012, I made the NZ Development squad which was a fantastic stepping stone to elite hockey, and allowed me to see where I needed to get to reach the next step. This year is when it all began. I debuted in February against Great Britain and have been very fortunate to attend both the Hockey World Cup and Commonwealth Games where we placed 5th and 3rd respectively. I'm hoping to continue pushing for places in future tours, with 2016 Rio in my sights!

Bryony Botha

I have been cycling for 4 years now, I am a road and track cyclists, but I would like to specialise in track cycling. My dream is to represent New Zealand at the Olympics in Track Cycling in 2020. I've already had a number of great achievements at a national level, and I want to start competing at a world class level. I am first year under 19, and one of the youngest U19 riders, but I can’t wait to start competing at an elite level.

My main event in the sports i do is endurance multisport races, standard distance triathlon and xterra off road triathlons. I am the u19 xterra world champion and 2 day C2C multisport world champion. What i enjoy most about the 3 sports i do is all the travel and meeting other excelling athletes, though i have only been racing for 2 years i have been up and down New Zealand and some awesome locations around the world. The highlights of 2016 this year have been winning the C2C and placing second at the red bull defiance with a %70 international field. As i am now concentrating on one sport, (triathlon) my goals for the future will be push for the 2018 Commonwealth Games and hopefully the 2020 Olympic games.

Emma Gilmour

I am currently regarded as the Worlds fastest female rally driver. Currently I am competing in the NZ Rally Championship with my Vantage Windows and Doors Suzuki Swift. I have finished overall runner up in the NZ series three times so I think its about time that we took out the top step of the podium! Through my racing career I have been lucky to rally all over the world. In 2009 we finished 2nd in the Asia Pacific Series and in 2014 I was a factory driver in the Red Bull Global Rally Cross series in America. More recently I have become aware of the stressful challenge of running my own business alongside my racing and the toll it was taking on my body. Using Pure products helps my body to recover and perform at its best whether I’m racing around the roads, training, travelling or working. I love it. :-) photo credit: Trev Hill

Fiona Bourke

In 2007 I left the comforts of home and my non-sporting lifestyle to attend Otago University with some lofty ambitions for my academic career. Within weeks of arriving in Dunedin I picked up my first set of oars and found a love for sport that I never knew I had. Just over four years later I found myself sitting on the start line of the Women's Quadruple Scull heats at the London Olympic Games, and I couldn't help but wonder how different life would have been if I didn't pick up those oars. I have been a member of the New Zealand Rowing Team since 2010 when I pulled on the Silver Fern for the first time as a member of the U23 Team, and have established myself as one of the countries top scullers since. After experiencing a huge disappointment in London, I have shifted to the Women's Double Scull. In 2013 we placed 2nd and in 2014 we became World Champions for the first time. Training as a full-time athletes is a great privilege and is something that I thoroughly enjoy. We place our bodies under a huge amount of stress on a daily basis and it is important to me that I fuel it properly to achieve optimal results. I have struggled with Electrolyte drinks over the years and am pleased to say that Pure products have offered a solution. The great range of products offers the perfect way to stay hydrated and last the distance on grueling sessions, without feeling sick or like you need a trip to the dentist!

Jaimee Leader

My name is Jaimee Leader and I am an NZ U19 Triathlete currently based in Palmerston North. I have been competing since a young age, firstly as a competitive swimmer and then as a Triathlete. I have enjoyed representing my School, home town Manawatu and NZ regularly throughout race the season each year. I was really pleased to win my 6th NZ Schools Triathlon title this year and also enjoyed an exciting summer season of Elite racing around NZ with pleasing results. The highlight of 2013 was definitely representing NZ at the Elite U19 World Triathlon Champs in London, it was a wonderful experience for me where I gained valuable race knowledge. I am looking forward to representing NZ again at the World Championships this year. I have recently been selected to compete in the Elite U19 World Triathlon Champs and also the Elite Junior World Aquathlon Champs which is being held in Edmonton, Canada in August. It is wonderful to keep learning from these opportunities and gain the experience from ITU races that will help prepare me as I progress towards U23 racing and Olympic distance. I am 100% committed to achieving my goals and I am aiming to continue to represent NZ the best that I can. I am coached and mentored by Olympic Triathlete Samantha Warriner (SWEAT7 Coaching) who has been a credit to my success so far as a triathlete. In my spare time, when I am not training I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, shopping and eating sushi ! :) I am really excited to be on board with the Pure brand as I have previously struggled to find a nutrition drink supplement that gives me the hydration I need during training and racing. Kate Fluker

Cory Bennett

I have been playing hockey for around 18 years now. Ive always represented North Harbour and intend to do so until my career is over. I have recently completed my 6th season playing in the National Hockey League and I have been a member of the New Zealand Hockey team for over 3 years now. I have played over 30 games scoring 9 goals as a defender and a drag flicker. My goals are not necessarily events but rather the goal that when I finish hockey I have no regrets and I reach the best possible version of myself in sport and in life. In doing this I believe the rest will follow.

Sacha Earnest

Not many people can say that they get to celebrate their 10th birthday by winning a 3rd World Championship title. That's exactly what Sacha Earnest did on 25th May at the UCI 2016 BMX World Championships held in Medellin, Colombia. Sacha rode her way to victory in the 10 year girls category, having won her first World title in 2013 in Auckland & backing it up winning again in 2014 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Last year at Zolder, Belgium she came 2nd in the 9 year girls final. After a bit of a break from BMX, (Sacha also rides mountain bikes & swims) Sacha was determined to get back on top of the podium. She had a 6 week focused training programme leading up to this year's BMX World Championships which worked perfectly as Sacha out-skilled the rest of her competitors to dominate every race including the final. The conditions in Colombia were testing at times as it was hot, humid & at altitude & the track was built next to an airport so races had to be stopped for low flying planes. Sacha competed against riders from all over the world including Colombia, Bolivia, Australia, Great Britain, France, Latvia, Ecuador & Belgium. Sacha is also a Kidsworx MTB gold medallist at CRANKWORX Rotorua 2015 & 2016 and 2014 AMP National Scholarship recipient.

Jake Earnest

Hi, my name is Jake Earnest. I am 11 years old and I've been racing BMX since I was 4 years of age. One of my greatest achievements so far was when I represented New Zealand at the 2013 BMX World Championships and finished 5th in the final in the 8 year old boys category. Then, I went on to compete at three more BMX World Championships with the latest one this year, held in Medellin, Colombia, where I finished in the top 16. For this 2016 season, for my age, I have ranked 2nd in the BMX Oceania Championships, 3rd in the BMXNZ National Championships & 3rd in the 10-12 boys downhill event at CRANKWORX Rotorua . My goals for next season are to keep racing my BMX and MTB as fast as I can at a regional, national and international level.
